Kate Bosworth's Ex-Stepdaughter Reacts to Her Engagement to Justin Long

The 'House of Darkness' co-stars announced their engagement on Tuesday.
Kate Bosworth's former stepdaughter embraced the news of the actress' engagement to Justin Long.
Jasper Polish, the 25-year-old daughter of Bosworth's ex-husband Michael Polish, to whom she was married from 2013 until 2021, took to social media earlier this week to celebrate the couple as they move on to the next stage of their relationship.
Jasper, who Michael shares with his first wife Jo Strettell, re-shared Bosworth's engagement announcement with her followers in a now-deleted Instagram Story, sweetly adding, "My people."
The Remember the Titans alum, 40, first announced the happy news of her engagement to her House of Darkness co-star on Tuesday, revealing that her now-fiancé, 44, proposed in an Apr. 4 post shared to her Instagram grid.

"These things are funny to announce. How to do this right? He’s going the distance? I’ve got a Blue Crush? He’s just THAT into me? I’ve won a date with…??? Ok you get it!" she joked.
"If life is short, find the one who brings you endless peace and radical wonder. ✨ @justinlong I am so grateful it’s you.xo," Bosworth concluded.
Shortly after the actress updated fans on her and Long's relationship status, the well-wishes poured in from more than just the couple's family.

"Fabulous and wonderful!!!!! Congrats, you guys are wonderful," gushed Good Girls alum Christina Hendricks, who is also newly engaged.
Selma Blair wrote, "The congratulations of lifetimes. 💛 two people I’ve long adored who have found each other…this is a magnificent life miracle. It’s perfect. 💛
Jason Ritter and Brittany Snow were also among the colleagues celebrating the two stars in the comments, writing, "So happy for you two absolute sweethearts ❤️❤️❤️" and "CONGRATS friends. Love to you both 😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️," respectively.
The couple–who met while filming the recent thriller House of Darkness–first hinted that their dynamic had taken a romantic turn when Bosworth shared a sentimental post on Instagram in 2021 about how much she enjoyed being with Long on set.
The two then sparked engagement rumors last month when Bosworth posed at the 2023 Oscars red carpet after party with Long wearing an eye-catching diamond ring on her left ring finger.
