Kate Beckinsale Proves She Can Actually Take a Bad Photo

Preternaturally gorgeous and ageless as she is, like the rest of us, Kate Beckinsale is not immune from taking the occasional bad photo.

On Wednesday, the 50-year-old posted a photo of herself on Instagram leaving the dentist's office in a wheelchair. In the photo, Beckinsale could be seen with some sort of black bandage wrapped around her head and jaw, with her arms crossed in a gesture that suggested she was definitely not amused. Her attitude could be perhaps further summed by the black sweatshirt she was wearing that had the word "FUCK" emblazoned across the front.

"Just for balance and to answer a question I am sometimes asked, 'do you ever take a bad picture,' may I direct you to the absolute DICK MAGNET that left the dentist surgery this morning," she quipped in the caption.

But for what it's worth, and as many people pointed out in the comments, even post-dental surgery Beckinsale honestly still looks gorgeous.

As to why she was in the wheelchair, the Underworld: Blood Wars actress likewise explained in the comments that it's the law [in California] after undergoing anesthesia. She also responded to a fan who noted her glittery eyes that it was from the previous night's makeup.

Given that the photo was posted on Nov. 1, Beckinsale had likely spent Tuesday night in costume for Halloween. The British stunner debuted not one but two costumes this year; first as Anna Nicole Smith alongside a friend dressed as the model’s octogenarian husband J. Howard Marshall and then as Jane Fonda’s Barbarella for a photoshoot.

While the latter may undoubtedly be a sexier photo than her most recent on Instagram, we should all be so lucky to take photos as "bad" as Beckinsale.
