Kate Beckinsale Left a Party With Machine Gun Kelly, a Friend of Her Ex Pete Davidson
Kate Beckinsale's Golden Globes night ended with dating rumors after she was photographed leaving a party at Chateau Marmont with Machine Gun Kelly, one of the best friends of her ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson. But E! got details from a source about the actual nature of their relationship. They're close...but not romantic. Calm down, guys.
"Kate attended the Fleabag party at San Vicente Bungalows and Machine Gun Kelly was there too," an eyewitness told the outlet. "They hung out together inside, but they left separately. Kate got into the car with a girlfriend and Machine Gun Kelly left on his own. Everyone was asking if they were a couple. Machine Gun Kelly said it was a 'negative' and Kate said it was, 'absolutely ridiculous.'" They may have been hanging out a lot, but it was strictly platonic."
"After they left the Fleabag party they met up again at Chateau Marmont and hung out there," the source added. "They seemed friendly, laughing and joking around together. But there was no PDA or signs of them being a couple. At the end of the night, they left in the same car. They had friends with them, but the two of them sat together in the back and seemed very friendly."
Beckinsale and Davidson's relationship started up last year after she was seen flirting with him on Golden Globes night. Beckinsale spoke about Davidson, the guy she made out with in a car and arena, once in an interview, shortly before they were reported to break up: "I’m surprised by the interest [in us]," Beckinsale said. "I’ve never been in this position before—never dated anybody who comes with their own bag of mischief. It’s all quite shocking, and something to get used to. I think if you liked the person less, you would bow out of it. If that were the main thrust of the relationship, there would be a problem. But it’s not."
Davidson is now dating Kaia Gerber.
