It was perfectly Ms. Von D. Beauty mogul and tattoo artist Kat Von D married her fiancé Leafar Seyer this weekend in a splendid ceremony—and the bride wore red.

Von D posted a photo from the ceremony, an affectionate image of the couple holding hands as they exchanged vows. “Still feeling the emotional electricity from our wedding last night with @prayers,” she wrote on Instagram. “We are spending today together reliving our vows, our beloved friends love, and all the artful beauty we created together, and I promise to share our epic wedding photos with you all soon as well as a bit more of our feelings about everything – as right now, we are both so overwhelmed with all the Love.”

Such a beautifully emotional day today. Tomorrow, @prayers and I will have our wedding ceremony for our close friends + family. This has been the sweetest, most stress-free experience where we continuosly fell in love with each other all over again with each day counting down. This is a photo of 3 carnations that our dear friends @majestyblack brought us tonight after our rehearsal and soundcheck. Red carnations are @prayers favourite flower, and the 3 represent him, me, and our sweet baby boy we are adding to our family. All I can say right now is that i am so grateful for my dear friends, and for my sweet husband. ❤️ Lastly, thank you all for all the love and for understanding that starting tomorrow we will most likely be stepping away from our phones for a while to be as present as possible on such a beautiful day. The couple got engaged four months ago and teased their gothic-themed nuptials via Instagram. “@prayers and I wanted our Save-The-Date cards for our upcoming wedding ceremony to be something our friends could actually make use of and hang on a wall instead of just throw away,” she wrote at the time.

Just mailed out our save-the-dates to our close friends+family for our upcoming matrimonial ceremony! @prayers and I have been working hard, curating a beautiful artful-minded experience for our loved ones to celebrate with us. 🖤 #envidayenmuerte [*and yes, Leafar Seyer is Rafael Reyes backwards.]

The two are also devout vegans, so the pair opted for a plant-based menu at their own nuptials. “At our wedding menu tasting today! @prayers and I are so excited to be having the most epic #vegan wedding of all time!” she previously teased. “We love the idea of showing the world that you don’t have to sacrifice luxury/quality by choosing not to exploit animals in any way. We are also excited about not having a gift registry and instead have guests who might be inspired to gift us, donate to one of our favorite animal rights organizations: @AnimalEquality on our behalf instead!”

Just weeks ahead of their wedding, the pair announced they’re expecting their first child together.
