Kat Von D Released a Lolita Eye Shadow Palette in Her New, Limited-Edition Lolita Makeup Collection
Kat Von D, queen of giving the people what they want, is taking one of her most beloved lipstick shades and turning it into a full collection. Pulling inspiration from your own back catalog? Quite the baller move.
Trendmood and Kat Von D Beauty's Instagram account broke the news that Lolita, a chestnut rose lipstick, is the basis for an entire new range. As of now, Lolita has already existed in a few forms as lipstick, lip liner, and eye shadow, all of which got the makeup vault treatment last year. But the new collection takes that same dusty rose shade and transforms it into almost a full face worth of products.
The collection is made up of three new components. First is Glimmer Veil ($22), a liquid lipstick iteration that adds shimmer to the classic Lolita shade. Then, since this is Kat Von D we're talking about, there's also a liquid eyeliner. It's a new Ink Well Long-Wear Matte Eyeliner ($20) (for a wing that could cut glass) in the same deep pink Lolita shade.
There were whisperings of a Lolita eye shadow palette ($39) a little over a year ago, and now it's finally here, featuring eight matte shades in the dusty rose Lolita color family. Colors range from light pink to deep burgundy: There's Promesa (pale pink), Besitos (dusty rose), Recuerdos (raisin), Hermosura (rose), Con Amor (terra cotta rose), Lolita (chestnut rose), Corazón (plum), and Eterno (eggplant).
All of these limited-edition Lolita products are available as of December 10 on katvondbeauty.com and in-store and online at Sephora.
