Another day, another Kaylor drama: Karlie Kloss seemingly gave a subtle relationship status update on her and Taylor Swift in a new Porter interview. The model name-dropped some of her current best friends, excluding Swift from the list (kind of like when Swift omitted Kloss's name on her "Look What You Made Me Do" squad-filled Junior Jewels t-shirt). “I’ve built really amazing friendships–some that last, some that don’t,” Kloss told the magazine (via ET Canada). “A couple have become some of the most important relationships in my life, in particular, those I’ve been in the trenches with, such as Jourdan Dunn, Joan Smalls, Toni Garrn and Lily Aldridge. We started as girls and we’ve grown up together, and I know if I need anything, I can call them up and they will be there for me, just like my friends from kindergarten.”

Granted, just because Swift isn't a name-checked BFF, and Kloss and her haven't been seen out together in awhile, doesn't mean they aren't friends period. In a New York Times piece published March 16, Kloss said regarding her and Swift, “Don’t believe everything you read." The NYT noted that Kloss and Swift "continue to be good friends, and they talk frequently." It's unclear whether this Porter interview was conducted before or after that interview, too.

Kloss also told Porter why she will never ever talk about her longterm boyfriend Joshua Kushner, the younger, liberal, March for Our Lives-attending brother of Ivanka Trump's husband and senior advisor to President Donald Trump, Jared Kushner.

“It’s not like I’ve ever wanted to be so secretive about my private life," she said. "Carolina Herrera always says, ‘A woman who’s an open book is boring.’ There’s no mystery anymore. I know in my life what really matters to me. I’m not trying to hide that from the world; I just really like having a more private private life. I’ve got nothing to hide, though!” Nothing to hide but everything to hide, in part to avoid being boring. Okay, Karlie.
