Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner Are Officially Married
It's official: Karlie Kloss is a married woman.
On Thursday, October 18, Kloss and Joshua Kushner wed in an intimate ceremony in upstate New York. (The upstate area is special to the couple as it's also the place where Kushner proposed to Kloss back in July.) According to People, there were less than 80 people in attendance; however, the couple is planning to hold a larger event for more of their friends and family in the spring. No word yet on whether or not Kushner's brother, White House Senior Advisor Jared Kushner, or his wife, Ivanka Trump, attended the wedding.
“The wedding was intimate and moving. The couple was beaming with happiness,” a friend who attended the ceremony shared with People about Kloss and Kushner, who have been together since 2012.
Kloss announced the marriage herself via a gorgeous photo she posted on social media:
After Kloss and Kushner got engaged over the summer, the model and Kode with Klossy founder shared her own excitement about the engagement, writing on Instagram, “I love you more than I have words to express. Josh, you’re my best friend and my soulmate. I can’t wait for forever together. Yes a million times over."
In September, Kloss shared more details about the proposal, telling Vogue, "The proposal was romantic and sweet. We spent the weekend in upstate New York, just the two of us."
For the ceremony, Kloss wore a white gown with lace detail that was designed by Dior, according to People. She also wore her hair back with a flowing full-length veil. Kloss appeared to accessorize with tiny studded earrings, a small necklace, and, of course, her cushion-cut diamond engagement ring, which is set in a platinum solitaire setting with a diamond pavé band.
