Karlie Kloss Welcomes Her Second Child With Husband Josh Kushner

Update, 7/14/23: Karlie Kloss and Josh Kushner welcomed their second child on July 11, 2023. Kushner shared the news by posting a snap of a newborn on Instagram with the caption "welcome to 🌎❤️ 7.11.23." They have yet to reveal their second baby's name. Karlie Kloss is expecting her second child!

The model announced she was pregnant at the 2023 Met Gala, wearing a form-fitting black Loewe dress. Her outfit, stylist Karla Welch shared on Instagram, was inspired by Karl Lagerfeld's trompe-l'oeil dress.

Per the Met Museum, he showed a trompe l’oeil in his first collection for Chanel in 1983. The museum writes, "This design from that first effort cites one of her favored looks, a black dress adorned with a mass of costume jewelry. Lagerfeld’s embroidered trompe l’oeil baubles, executed by the specialist House of Lesage, are a witty take on Chanel’s embrace of fake jewelry.

Kloss accessorized Garrard jewelry, featuring lots of pearl necklaces, along with a Jennifer Behr black bow in her slicked-back hair. She wore Jimmy Choo heels to complete her outfit.

At Kloss's last public appearance in early April, she kept any signs of her pregnancy hidden under an oversized blazer.

Tonight, Kloss attended the Gala with her husband, Josh Kushner. The two are already parents to Levi, born in March 2021. "The moment he was placed on my arms—I literally cry at commercials now, so I might cry right now—I just had this moment of, 'Now, every woman who has a child, every parent, goes through this,'" Kloss said last year about motherhood. "And it's just the most profound experience that I had no idea [about] until having a kid."

Levi was at the Mark Hotel with Kloss as she got ready. She posted on her Instagram story that he is her "favorite visitor."

Kloss and Kushner tied the knot in October 2018, and threw a larger wedding in Wyoming in June 2019.
