  • The family is interested in starting their own media company and a new Shark Tank–style show.

Keeping Up With the Kardashians has been on since the dawn of time, but the show is finally coming to an end in 2021. Or! Is! It! No, like, it is, I promise—but apparently, the family wants to team up with a streaming giant like Netflix, Apple, or Amazon for their next projects.

Page Six reports that the Kardashians are expected to follow in the footsteps of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and sign a massive multimillion-dollar production deal within a year. Sources even said the family is considering starting “their own media company.”

According to Page Six, E! couldn’t ~keep up~ (ha…) with the Kardashians’ salary demands, and they think there’s way more earning potential with Netflix, Apple, or Amazon. While E! did fork over $150 million for the family’s last contract, that’s nothing compared to, let’s say, Ryan Murphy’s $300 million production deal with Netflix.

“There’s more money in streaming,” a source explained. “And it’s global.” The insider also said the Kardashians might start a Shark Tank–esque show to capitalize on their success as entrepreneurs but are “open to all opportunities” after they take some time off.

In other words, uh, they aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.
