The Kardashians’ hairstylist just launched a hair masque for “super glossy, expensive looking hair”

Celebrities like Kim Kardashian pay big bucks to get silky hair with a glossy shine. But now you can get the same look for just under $50.

Celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton recently partnered with Color Wow to launch a hair “masque” for “super glossy, expensive-looking hair.” If you’re not familiar, Appleton is the man behind the famous tresses of the Kardashians, Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa and Jennifer Lopez. In other words, he knows what he’s doing.

His new product with Color Wow is aptly called Money, and it’s a deep hydrating treatment packed with Mediterranean plant-based proteins (like blue sea kale and a sea kelp/algae blend), antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.

“Money Masque is your rags to riches texture solution,” the product description reads.

“Regardless of how different one of Chris’s looks is from another, you can tell it’s an ‘Appleton’ because of the glossy, supple, expensive-looking
texture he creates,” Color Wow founder and CEO Gail Federici said in a press release. “It’s this unique signature of his that makes every client look sexy. We wanted to help him bring that enviable quality to women everywhere.”

To use, first shampoo your hair and squeeze out any excess water. Then, apply a generous amount of the masque and massage or comb it through to make sure you coat every inch of your strands. Leave it on for 3–5 minutes and then rinse. You can use it once a week or every three shampoos.

I recently got my hands on a sample of Money, which came at the perfect time to be honest. I just got my hair colored a week ago — light blonde highlights to be exact — and my hair has been feeling dry and weak. I’ve been careful not to shampoo it every day or use too much heat on it since. But then this hair mask came and I had to try it.

Money isn’t super fragrant and has a similar creamy, yet gel-like texture of other hair masks I’ve tried. And the results were just as advertised. After using Money in the shower, letting my hair partly air-dry, then hitting with a hair dryer, my hair felt smoother. And it definitely looked more glossy and shiny too. Suddenly, I felt more expensive.

You can get Money at Sephora or on Color Wow’s website for $45. Depending on how much and how often you use it, it could last you a while. Of course, now I want to use Money all the time, so I may use mine up within the next month or so.
