The Kardashians, much like the rest of us, are loving Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson together. A source told E! News that the family approves of the Saturday Night Live star and has even gotten close to him.

"Pete is getting close with Kim's family and they really like him," the insider told the outlet before adding that the Kardashians "love this new relationship for Kim and the way he treats her."

Kardashian's younger sister Khloé even took to Instagram to share a photo of flowers that were allegedly sent to her by the comedian on Valentine's Day. According to Vanity Fair, Khloé captioned the story of the bouquet, "The sweetest! Thank you Pete." To celebrate the holiday with Kim, the actor took her to a fancy dinner at Lilia in Brooklyn.

And while Davidson appears to have won over the hearts of Kardashian's family, at the end of the day, the most important thing is Kim's happiness. "They just want Kim to be happy and he has made her very happy," the source told E!.

The two were first romantically linked following the shapewear mogul's SNL hosting debut back in October. Davidson made things official just last week when he referred to the billionaire as his "girlfriend" during an interview with People (The TV Show!). "I don't have Instagram or Twitter or any of that stuff. So, most of my daily life is getting into cars and showing up to a set," he said. "Or, if I'm off, I just either hang with my friends or chill with my girlfriend inside."

Kardashian's new relationship comes about a year after filing for divorce from ex-husband Kanye "Ye" West, with whom she shares four children: North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2. The rapper has been coming for his ex and her new boyfriend in a slew of now-deleted Instagram posts, which included screenshots of private text messages with both Kardashian and Davidson. "Ye" has since apologized for the public statements in an Instagram writing "I'm working on my communication."
