A karaoke app with millions of users is quietly taking over TikTok

TikTok is obsessed with a popular karaoke app and the results are hilarious. The singing app Smule has been around for almost a decade, but TikTok users have recently discovered it. Smule is an interactive karaoke app you can use with friends and strangers. It originally launched as Sing! Karaoke in 2012. The user @m1chaelceraluvr found it hilarious when a Michael Cera fan on Smule burped in the middle of her karaoke. "I'm so sorry," she said before she continued singing. @user9917771634827 could barely hold it together during a duet when their singing partner used a wild voice to perform Syko's "#BrooklynBloodPop!" . "I actually like it more than the OG song," one person commented. "I just dueted them and I stopped singing just to laugh," another said. Smule users tend to spend 57 minutes on the app on average, compared to 34 minutes on TikTok and 44 minutes on Facebook
