Kaley Cuoco Jokingly Insists Her Daughter Matilda Inherited This Trait From Her — & It Isn't Her Big Blue Eyes

Kaley Cuoco blessed her daughter with one of her traits — and not just those saucer-shaped baby blues.

On Monday’s episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show, The Big Bang Theory alum shared 9-month-old Matilda’s latest achievement, jokingly insisting the credit is all hers.

“She’s so precious, you guys,” Cuoco told Hudson and the audience. The actress continued, “She is so beyond, she just started saying ‘uh oh’ and it’s the funniest thing. I’m convinced that she says it at the correct time, like something will drop and she’ll hear something on TV and goes, ‘uh oh.'”

While The Flight Attendant star is convinced Matilda understands what the phrase means, Cuoco’s fiancé Tom Phelprey isn’t convinced. The latter insists their daughter “says that all day long,” while the former simply believes “she’s a genius.” Sounds like just about every proud mama!

Cuoco reiterated, “She says ‘uh oh’ ’cause she knows what it means.” Hudson asked if Matilda’s intelligence was thanks to 8 Simple Rules alum, to which Cuoco sarcastically quipped, “Yes, the genius, of course!” She added, “The ‘uh oh’ and the genius, and the big eyes. Tom always says she’s got my crazy eyes — yeah she’s got big eyes.”

Matilda’s likeness to her mom doesn’t end there. Cuoco also revealed, “She loves music, she’s very musical, she wants to dance.” After sharing the baby “bops to everything,” the actress funnily added, “She also gets it from me because I also have one move.”

In March 2023, Cuoco and Pelphrey welcomed their first child together. The new mom announced their daughter’s arrival on Instagram, writing, “Introducing, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, the new light of our lives! We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle 💓.” She sweetly added, “@tommypelphrey didn’t think I could fall even more in love with you, but I did 💗”
