Kaley Cuoco Gives Birth to First Child With Tom Pelphrey, Reveals Baby's Sweet Name

Kaley Cuoco is officially a mom!

The Flight Attendant actress announced the exciting news via Instagram on Saturday, April 1, revealing that her new baby daughter came into the world on Thursday, March 30.

Marking Cuoco's first child with partner Tom Pelphrey, the new bundle of joy has already been given a sweet moniker which her mom announced in the Instagram post: "Introducing Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey."

Calling their newest family member "the new light of our lives," Cuoco shared a collection of heart-melting snaps of life so far as a new mom, featuring a lot of baby snuggles and photos from the hospital.

In one of the precious pics, the Big Bang Theory alum is seen cradling her little one from the hospital bed, while the family of three made their official Instagram debut in a sweet family portrait.

Another shows Pelphrey doing skin-to-skin with the new babe and holding her against his bare chest, as well as another photo of his hand around Matilda's head, showing off a tattoo of Cuoco's name on one of his fingers.

"We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle 💓 Thank you to the doctors , nurses , family and friends who have helped us immensely over the last few days," Cuoco added in her caption. "We are blessed beyond belief 💗."

"@tommypelphrey didn’t think I could fall even more in love with you , but I did 💗," she concluded.

The post was inundated with support and congratulations from some of her celebrity  pals, including Julianne Hough, Lisa Rinna, Chrissy Metz, Daniella Monet, and many more who sent their love in the comments.

Cuoco and Pelphrey have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of their daughter after first announcing the pregnancy news on social media last fall.

The smitten couple spilled the beans in an Instagram post in October 2022, revealing a piece of cake with pink frosting inside to signify that the bun in the oven was a girl.

"Baby girl Pelphrey coming 2023💕," Cuoco wrote at the time. "Beyond blessed and over the moon… I 💓you @tommypelphrey !!!"

The Meet Cute star has since been seen flaunting her growing belly and keeping her fans updated on the progress of her pregnancy.

Earlier this year, Cuoco and Pelphrey attended the 28th Annual Critics Choice Awards together, while the actress was heavily pregnant and practically glowing.

"Thank you team for making this preggo feel perfect .." she wrote to her glam squad and Dior Couture via Instagram after the January event, while sharing snaps of her gorgeous red carpet look.

Now we're hoping the happy couple has the best experience with their next chapter together—onto parenthood!
