Kailyn Lowry Was Arrested for Allegedly Punching Her Ex During Dispute Over Their Son’s Haircut
Teen Mom 2’s Kailyn Lowry was reportedly arrested for allegedly punching her ex Chris Lopez.
The alleged dispute was over their son Lux’s haircut.
Update from the world of MTV’s Teen Mom 2: Cast member Kailyn Lowry was reportedly arrested for allegedly punching her ex Chris Lopez during a dispute over their son Lux’s hair.
According to Us Weekly, Kailyn was arrested on September 26 for an alleged incident that took place on September 4. Per court documents obtained by the outlet, Chris claimed that Kailyn struck him “several times with a closed fist” after realizing he had cut Lux’s hair, further alleging that she “started attacking him [and] punching him several times on the head and upper torso because she did not want the child’s hair cut.”
In the court docs, Chris claims he “did not fight back” and his sister “attempted to pull Kailyn off” of him.
Kailyn reportedly “stated that the dispute never became physical” to police, was taken into custody for offensive touching, and was later released and ordered to have no contact with Chris. Per Us Weekly, her arraignment is set for January 21, 2021.
