Kaia Gerber and Jacob Elordi Have Reportedly Broken Up

Cuffing season is supposed to be in full swing, but it appears as though our fave celeb couples have other plans in mind this fall. Fresh off of Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes' joint breakup announcement on Instagram, Kaia Gerber and Jacob Elordi have reportedly called it quits. According to reports, the couple ended things after dating for one year.

A source confirmed the breakup to E! News. "They split, and it is amicable," the anonymous source disclosed.

Jacob and Kaia just made their red carpet debut together. Back in September, they put on the most adorable showing of PDA during the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures' opening gala.

Rumblings of potential issues between the couple arose when fans noticed that Kaia removed most of her pictures with Jacob from her Instagram. There are two solo shots of the Euphoria star still up on her page, though. Despite removing pics from her IG, the former couple still follows one another, so that's a relief.

Kaia previously dished on her relationship with Jacob in a conversation with Vogue. "Being able to be with someone I trust, where we don't want anything from each other, having a safe, steady relationship like that, has really opened my eyes to the possibilities of love and what it feels like to love without conditions," she said. "Lust is touching other people or wanting them, but love is really seeing someone."

In the same interview, she gushed about how supportive Jacob was while she filmed American Horror Stories. "He's a great person for me to go to because he's gone to drama school and has years of experience that I don't have. So I'm like, 'Oh, I'm definitely going to be using you as a resource.'"

After being spotted out together for the first time in September 2020, Jacob and Kaia made their relationship Instagram official that Halloween, dressing up as Elvis and Priscilla Presley.
