Kacey Musgraves Is a Dream in Giambattista Valli Couture at the Oscars
If you're not yet familiar with country singer Kacey Musgraves, her winning red carpet style is proof it's time to learn. The singer showed up to the 2019 Oscars in a swoon-worthy pink tulle gown by Giambattista Valli Couture, landing herself as one of the most unexpected red carpet winners of the night.
Looking like a walking cotton candy dream, Musgraves' gown featured tiers of pink tulle and dramatic ruffs around the neck and shoulders. It was half fairy princess, half '80s prom queen-and 100% a LEWK.
Although she's not nominated, Musgraves will be presenting at tonight's Academy Awards. If you're not totally familiar with the singer or her work yet, she recently took home the award for Album of the Year at the 2019 Grammys, sweeping the music awards. The 30-year-old beat out Cardi B, Drake, Post Malone, H.E.R., and Janelle Monáe with her album, "Golden Hour," for the win.
And if her Giambattista Valli look at the Oscars tonight is any indication, she's also a major style contender to watch on the red carpet, too.
