Kaavia James Is a Little Fashionista in a Princess-Inspired Sparkly Jacket in the Cutest New Photos with Mom Gabrielle Union

2024 is for the fashion girlies. Starting with Kaavia James, aka Shady Baby, who showed off her amazing princess-inspired pink jacket on Instagram in new photos with mom Gabrielle Union.
In the first picture, Kaavia, 5, smiles next to her mom. The duo is outside, enjoying some fresh January air and looking beautiful. Kaavia has pink beads braided into her hair to match her sparkly pink jacket, which is covered in sequins and a glittery silver “K.”

Slide to the end to see the back of the stunning jacket, which features more sparkles (of course!) and a sparkly photo of three Disney princesses: Jasmine from Aladdin, Tiana from The Princess and the Frog, and Ariel from The Little Mermaid. Above the princesses is a glittery silver “WADE.”
She paired her cute jacket with black leggings, long white socks, and black Converse, which you can see as she does a silly run in the video. She is just too cute!
In another photo in the carousel, Kaavia and Union make fierce faces for the camera, which Kaavia accentuates by pulling on her braids. She is stylish and strong, and it’s an inspiration for all!
“The first of many adventures on the first 🫣,” the post on Kaavia’s Instagram (run by her parents Union and Dwyane Wade) was captioned.
Wade commented, “❤️❤️.”
“That jacket is everything 💖,” someone else wrote.

Last week, Kaavia proved she isn’t just a fashion icon — she’s also a fashion critic, at least when it comes to her family! The Bring It On star and her stepdaughter Zaya Wade, 16, posed in their outfits before Kim Kardashian’s Christmas Eve party, followed by a close-up of Kaavia. “Does Kaav like it? Or does she don’t?” the little girl asked the camera before waggling her eyebrows in the adorable video.
She’s also a huge princess fan. When she turned 5 in November, Kaavia wore several princess dresses for her birthday party, including Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Tiana, Elsa from Frozen, and Ariel.
“November 7, 2018 our dream became a reality and our princess @kaaviajames was born,” The Perfect Find actress wrote on Instagram. “I cannot believe she’s already 5?!?! She is pure light and love and brings so much joy to everyone she encounters.”
Union added, “She loves to sing, dance, play Barbie’s and reaaaalllllly loves hanging with her best friends!! Sometimes she’s like a roast comedian and sometimes we find her praying quietly (Kaav LOVES the Lord 🙏🏾) She is truly 1 of 1 and the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
