Justin Theroux is the latest big-time celeb to wish actress Jennifer Aniston happy birthday as she turns 50 today. The Leftovers star, who was married to Aniston for over two years, shared a black and white photo of the Friends alum on Instagram today with a sweet message.

"Happy Birthday to this fierce Woman," Theroux captioned a shot of Aniston in a black tank top. "Fiercely loving. Fiercely kind. ....and fiercely funny. ❤️ you B."

Theroux, 47, and Aniston tied the knot in August 2015 but announced their separation in February 2018, just a few days after the actress' birthday. The couple's decision to split "was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year," they told Associated Press.

"Normally we would do this privately, but given that the gossip industry cannot resist an opportunity to speculate and invent, we wanted to convey the truth directly,” they said in the statement at the time. “Whatever else is printed about us that is not directly from us, is someone else’s fictional narrative. Above all, we are determined to maintain the deep respect and love that we have for one another."

This past weekend, almost a year since her split from Theroux, Aniston celebrated her 50th birthday early with a star-studded party in L.A., featuring guests like Amal and George Clooney, Reese Witherspoon, Sandra Bullock, Gwyneth Paltrow, and more.

Apparently, Aniston's previous ex-husband, Brad Pitt, was also in attendance. Although there aren't any pictures of him at the event, People confirms the actor made a low-key entrance and covered up with a baseball cap.

Theroux was not reported to have been at the soirée. According to Entertainment Tonight, he was participating in fashion week festivities in New York. He was seen at a Rag & Bone party on Friday and an Opening Ceremony party on Sunday. Aniston's party was on Saturday.

Despite her very public breakups, Aniston is confident that her past marriages have been successful, she says in ELLE's December 2018 issue.

"I don’t feel a void. I really don’t," she told the magazine. "My marriages, they’ve been very successful, in [my] personal opinion. And when they came to an end, it was a choice that was made because we chose to be happy, and sometimes happiness didn’t exist within that arrangement anymore."
