The fifth wedding anniversary is traditionally celebrated with the gift of wood, but the Biebs opted for Alex Moss bling.

Hailey Bieber tapped the jeweler to the stars to create a matching necklace set as a surprise anniversary present for her husband, Justin Bieber. The two iced-out, mushroom-shaped pendants are each adorned with five large stones that symbolize the couple’s half-decade of marriage. The Biebers celebrated their anniversary on September 13.

“This set is unlike anything I’ve ever created before,” Moss said in a statement. “It was designed exclusively for Justin by Hailey, making it one of the most personal and intimate pieces I’ve had the privilege to craft.”

Hailey’s yellow mushroom was made from 14-karat yellow gold and decorated with a dazzling selection of VVS white and yellow diamonds totaling 12.6 carats. Justin’s blue mushroom was again fashioned from 14-karat yellow gold and embellished with VVS white and blue diamonds totaling 12.6 carats. The “Baby” singer’s ‘shroom was also adorned with a Burmese ruby, Colombian emerald, pink sapphire, and yellow sapphire stones. (He’s already been spotted wearing it, too.) Both pendants hang from geo-cable link chains forged from matching 14-karat yellow gold.

Moss says Hailey wanted the set to “be absolutely perfect,” adding that the founder and creative director of Rhode Skin was an excellent collaborator.

“Hailey possesses a remarkable creative design intuition,” the jeweler said. “She had a clear vision regarding the style, shape, and colors, reminiscent of our process in creating her famous ‘B’ necklace that has garnered widespread attention.”

Moss has built up a loyal following of deep-pocketed A-listers that extends beyond the Biebers. His eponymous New York studio has created lavish pieces for the likes of Drake, Tyler, the Creator, and Jack Harlow. The maximalist bling produced at the Fifth Avenue workshop does not come cheap, of course. To give you an idea, a 14-karat white-gold Jesus pendant adorned with 16.8 carats of VVS blue and yellow diamonds will set you back $18,500. One-offs are more expensive, naturally. In fact, Moss says the Bieber’s Anniversary Mushroom Set is “priceless.”
