Justin Bieber skipped the 2022 Met Gala, but that didn't stop him from swooning about his wife's look.
On Instagram, the "Peaches" singer shared a post featuring a photo of Hailey Bieber's stunning ivory-colored backless dress by Saint Laurent's Anthony Vaccarello. The gown included a halter neck, and a thigh-high slit, and she finished the look with a 1920s-inspired statement floor-length shawl covered in white feathers, black tights, and heels with jeweled toe straps and crisscross decorations at the ankles. She kept her hair and jewelry simple with a middle-part bun and diamond studs.
Justin captioned the post simply, "🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀," and Hailey responded with a red heart, "❤️."
The singer also shared various photos of his wife on the red carpet on his Instagram Story—no captioned needed.
It's unclear why Justin did not show up at the event, but the supermodel seemed in good spirits while speaking to Vogue live host Vanessa Hudgens.
During the talk, she opened up about her recent health struggles—she was hospitalized after a blood clot traveled to her brain, and then had to undergo heart surgery—saying she went through a very scary time, but she's now feeling much better and ready to continue living her life.
"Obviously, it was a little bit hard to talk about, just 'cause it was a really scary experience, but I felt like if it could help anybody, or bring light to the situation, it's not really a well-known thing to happen, especially in very young people," Hailey said.
The Met Gala was her second big Hollywood event since the hospitalization. The model also showed up to the Grammys last month, with husband Justin by her side.
