Justin Bieber Seen Crying in His Car as He Deals with Selena Gomez's Emotional Breakdown
Justin Bieber was seen looking extremely distraught in the car on Thursday as his wife, Hailey Baldwin, looked on. The two were on their way to see Justin's pastor, possibly to talk through his feelings about Selena Gomez's recent hospitalization.
This comes a day after Justin was equally upset as he headed to church alone on Wednesday night. He kept his head down and his hair in his eyes, shielding himself from the paparazzi. After the service, Bieber was escorted out by friends, instead of his normal church buddy/wife, Hailey Baldwin.

Most likely, Justin was made upset about the news of Selena's recent emotional breakdown on Wednesday. According to TMZ, she was originally admitted to the hospital because of a low white blood cell count, an issue due to her kidney transplant last year. When the doctors wouldn't let her leave, she began "ripping the IVs out of her arm." Selena is now undergoing dialectic behavior therapy in order to learn to cope with her triggers.
The news of Sel's breakdown came just a few hours before Justin went to church, so it's definitely possible that he was dealing with this sad news while at church. His friends were seen hugging him and comforting him as he left the building, with Justin even resting his head on a friend at one point.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Justin is extremely upset about the news of Selena's hospitalization. "Although he is engaged to Hailey, Selena holds a special place in his heart," a source told ET. "Justin spent most of the day alone, and even took a solo hike to the Wisdom Tree in L.A. to get away and decompress. Justin then went to his church where he was noticeably upset, without Hailey, and was comforted by friends." Even though the two broke up in May 2018, Justin still "wants the best for Selena. When the two rekindled their romance, he got to see how her health really affects her, so he understands how serious this is."
Though Selena is currently hospitalized on the East Coast, it doesn't seem too farfetched to think that Justin could fly out to see her in the wake of her hospitalization.
