Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin Return to Church Conference Where They Rekindled Their Romance
Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin have gone back to where it all began. The couple are currently in Miami for the VOUS conference, which is for “people to encounter God, equip the church, and empower the next generation of leaders.” Bieber wore a tie-dye sweatshirt from his clothing line Drew House while Baldwin wore hot pink trousers, a white tank top, and oversized denim jacket.
The couple have been open about their faith and attend church regularly in Los Angeles, but the VOUS conference is a little more special to their relationship. After briefly dating and breaking up, Bieber and Baldwin reunited at the conference last June.
“Negative things happened that we still need to talk about and work through,” Baldwin told Vogue in February about their past dating experience. “Fizzled would not be the right word-it was more like a very dramatic excommunication. There was a period where if I walked into a room, he would walk out.”
After running into each other at the Miami event last year, the couple were back on and engaged within a month, getting married a few months later in November.
“The common denominator, I promise you, is always church. By then we were past the drama. I just gave him a hug,” she said. “By the end of the conference, he was like, ‘We’re not going to be friends.’ I was like, ‘We’re not?’”
Apparently Bieber had some bigger plans in store.
