Justin Bieber's Doppelgänger Brad Sousa Is the One Who Ate That Burrito

On Oct. 26, Justin Bieber was spotted doing something extremely shocking: eating a burrito… sideways, almost like an apple. It was the paparazzi photo heard ‘round the world, and many were confused and even upset by the pic. News stations picked it up! Blogs went wild over it. Chrissy Teigen came to Justin’s defense, but the lines were clearly drawn: burrito purists vs. Justin.

However, news even more shocking than Justin’s burrito-harmonica moment has recently surfaced: it was all staged, and the guy in the pic who looks just like Justin? Not him. TMZreports that the entire thing was a setup by a group of YouTubers called Yes Theory, who dressed up a Bieber doppelganger named Brad Sousa and set him up to chow down on a burrito, making viral history and confusing both fans of burritos and Justin.

Yes Theory posted a video about their prank, detailing how they got together with Brad, how they spent time watching paparazzi videos of Bieber to capture his current hairstyle, clothing choices, and mannerisms, even down to the hair they stuffed under a Bieber-style beanie. The pics were snapped, leaked, and posted, and an Internet legend was born.

It all seemed like business as usual for Brad, a Bieber lookalike who also hails from Justin’s native Canada. He looks so much like Justin that even megafans were fooled, and a quick peek at his Instagram shows that he’s more than aware of their similarities. He posted a pic in the pink sweatshirt, a telling clue, and the rest of his pics look very Justin-esque despite the fact that Brad’s hair is short, not long and blonde like Justin’s current ‘do.

Burrito fans can sleep well at night now, knowing that the whole “Justin Bieber doesn’t know how burritos work” thing was all a prank. But then again… does Justin Bieber know how to eat a burrito? We’ve got a feeling that the next time Justin’s in the vicinity of a Chipotle, all eyes are going to be on him.
