Justin Bieber Has '70s Surf Brah Hair Now

Welcome to another edition of Grooming Gods; a weekly recap of the best celebrity haircuts, beards, and other grooming adventures, courtesy of our favorite stylish gentlemen across the globe. This week retro cuts and aggressive facial hair took centerstage, giving guys with on-trend clothes even more style power.

Best Retro Cut: Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber has been growing out his hair for several months now, but every day it seems to take on a different vibe. One day it's giving us athleisure Axl Rosevibes, the next day—or, more precisely, on Thursday in London—we're getting early Beach Boys. While we might not approve of every grooming look Bieber adopts, we do appreciate the guy's ability to keep us on our toes.

Best Body Hair: Donald Glover

Donald Glover's wardrobe has all kind of swagger, but it's his willingness to go open-collar that places his style firmly in the '70s. Glover's beard-to-chest grooming situation might be a tad unruly—but when you're the king of Atlanta, unruly works.

Best Fade: John Boyega

John Boyega's high fade goes a long way toward explaining why high fades are so popular: they're edgy but clean-cut at the same time, and look exceptionally cool with today's tropical print shirts. Notice the distinction between what's on top and what's on the sides? That's exactly what you're going for with this look, no matter your hair type.

Best Eyebrows: Chris Pine

For every hair we have on our heads, we're pretty sure Chris Pine has about 75. That includes his eyebrows. This is a good thing! If you've been blessed with bushy brows, and especially if you've been blessed with bushy brows and blue eyes, own it.

Best Double-Vision Grooming: Agyness Deyn and Jim Sturgess

Agyness Deyn and Jim Sturgess, stars of Hulu's new Hard Sun, attended the show's premiere this week sporting coordinating Beatles-era shag haircuts. With long bangs and ear-obscuring sides, this cut vaguely resembles the one you sported as a 5th grader. But Deyn and Sturgess definitely have the bone structure and Brit-cool wardrobe and attitude to pull it off in a much more grow-up—hell, downright enviable—way.
