It’s a Christmas miracle! The two most fashionable Canadians — obviously, Justin Bieber and Fashion Santa — came together to take a selfie just days before the holiday. “It’s true! Celebs shop at #Yorkdale! Can you #beliebe it?! Justin Bieber + #YorkdaleFashionSanta,” the Yorkdale Shopping Centre wrote alongside the photo on Facebook.
Bieber most likely used his celebrity status to cut the line, but mall revelers have been waiting, some for hours on end, for the opportunity to take a snap with model Paul Mason, the viral sensation also known as Fashion Santa or Hipster Santa or Lumbersexual Santa.
While the picture is cute, it’s also good: for every selfie shared on social media with #YorkdaleFashionSanta, the mall has promised to donate $1 to the Sick Kids Foundation, which benefits Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children.

“I’m not sure anyone expects a campaign to go viral. As you can imagine, I’m very pleased. There’s also something special about spreading joy at this time of year,” the veteran model, who was told of his likeness to the man in charge at the North Pole when he grew his bear out a few years ago, shared with the Guardian. “I’ve taken photos with everyone from newborn babies to 70-year-old women and even puppies. Most people seem to be excited about the concept of taking a picture with Santa again and getting into the holiday spirit.”
Now Mason can international pop sensation to that list.
