How many chills did you get while watching the DC heroes unite in the new Justice League trailer? Cool, cool, same. From the very first glimpse of Amy Adams as Lois Lane, we were ready. And by the time a cover of David Bowie’s “Heroes” started playing, the tears were real.

The first Wonder-Woman-heavy trailer for Justice League was released in July, and the excitement has been seriously high ever since. Though there were rumors about Warner Bros. dropping Ben Affleck as Batman, we are happy Batman is alive and well and very much still Affleck in this trailer. (Love you, Ben!)

But one particular hero from the Justice League seems to be missing.

There is still no sign of Superman, though there is some Clark Kent. We see Kent at his childhood home with Lois Lane (played by the lovely Adams). The moment is sweet and exciting, buuuut. It’s just a figment of Lois’s imagination and not in any way reflective of ~reality.~ Or, so they say. The way they’re teasing Superman is pretty brilliant, though. The whole conversation around Justice League has been about Superman’s return and whether or not it will happen.

And, BTW, we’re still holding out major hope.

The movie is in theaters starting next month, just in time for that sweet holiday movie season. People are already starting the countdown.

Between the continued obsession with Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman and the absolute beautiful human that is Jason Momoa, we cannot wait for this movie to come out.

Bring on the superheroes!
