Just Announced: A Fan-Favorite Show Is Returning to Disney World!

Disney has made wishes come true for some fans!

Disney Parks announced on Jan. 10 the return of the fan-favorite firework show "Happily Ever After." Starting April 3, the nighttime spectacular will once again light up the sky at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom Park and will feature new projections down Main Street, U.S.A.

The beloved show was replaced in 2021 by "Disney Enchantment," which was introduced as part of Walt Disney World Resort's 50^th anniversary celebration.

The Magic Kingdom isn't the only park bringing back an old show in 2023. "EPCOT Forever" is returning to EPCOT for a limited time beginning April 3. It will be replacing the current nighttime show above and around World Showcase Lagoon: "Harmonious."

Like "Disney Enchantment" at Magic Kingdom, "Harmonious" debuted in 2021 and both nighttime spectaculars will wrap two days after "The World’s Most Magical Celebration" comes to an end on March 31, 2023.

According to the Disney Parks Blog, “EPCOT Forever” is being brought back as "an interim show" before an all-new nighttime spectacular debuts at the park later this year, and will be returning with "a collection of songs that offer both a trip down memory lane and a look toward the future."

April is shaping up to be an exciting month at Disney World! Aside from the return of old shows, Tron Lightcycle/ Run is scheduled to open at Magic Kingdom Park on April 4.
