Jussie Smollett and Taraji P. Henson Are MAC Viva Glam’s Newest Ambassadors

Looks like MAC cosmetics simply can’t get enough of Taraji P. Henson. The makeup brand tapped the Empire star for a collaboration that dropped in September, and now it has chosen her to star in a new Viva Glam campaign. This time, though, Taraji’s got a bit of company — Jussie Smollett, her Empire co-star, who has also signed on with the brand.

MAC took to social media to announce its newest ambassadors. “Welcome to the #VIVAGLAM family,” the brand tweeted, adding that you can expect the latest lipstick to hit stores in February 2017. As always, 100 percent of the proceeds will go to helping those affected by HIV/AIDS, through the MAC AIDS Fund. Henson and Smollett join a growing line of Viva Glam ambassadors, who, since 1994, have included RuPaul, K.D. Lang, Christina Aguilera, Pamela Anderson, Lady Gaga, Nikki Minaj, and Rihanna.

“I believe that together we can end this epidemic once and for all,” Smollett wrote on his Instagram page.

Obviously, we can’t wait to see what Taraji, Jussie, and MAC have up their sleeves this time around.
