"#highschoolbegone."

After four seasons on ABC's Black-ish, one main character has reached a major milestone. Andre "Junior" Johnson Jr. (portrayed by actor Marcus Scribner) has finally graduated from the show's fictional high school and he's ready to celebrate the moment that he hashtagged: "#highschoolbegone."

Marcus has talked with Teen Vogue about how portraying Junior has often resulted in moments that mirror much of what he's going through IRL. And according to a recent interview with The Mercury the graduation-themed episode is dropping just as he prepares for graduation off-screen. "In the show I get a little bit of a head start to see how this is all going to go down,” he told The Mercury. “It is like a warning system before the real thing happens."

Before the episode aired on Tuesday (May 8) night, Marcus tweeted out a teaser to fans, writing: "This is one graduation speech you are not gonna want to miss! 🎓 #highschoolbegone." For four years, viewers have watched the actor grow up on their television screens, and many on social media have been in their feelings over this huge occasion. Followers took the opportunity to share their favorite memories from the show, and to express how old the fictional television moment makes them feel. "They grow up so fast 😭😭😭😭😢😢," one follower joked. Another person seemed amazed, tweeting: "I can’t believe it. It was just like yesterday we was watching the “Bro-mititzvah” episode from Season 1 lol." Some on Twitter even praised the actor, sharing how they felt the scene was "beautiful" and his "best episode." And after such a well-received scene, fans have already started to express their dreams of seeing more Junior in the future, with one follower even suggesting a spinoff series like Yara Shahidi's Grown-ish.
