Mutual Aid funds can be allocated to medical bills, rent, cash bail, grocery supplies, and other necessities. Thanks to modern technology, there are many ways to support Black Activists and organizations by donating through Cashapp, Venmo, Zelle, and other online payment forms. You can research Black Organizations and Mutual Aid funds in your area that may need financial support.
3. Support Black Businesses
Similar to donating to mutual aid funds, buying from small Black-owned businesses can help maintain economic sustainability. Although buying Black can be a timeless way of supporting Black people, it should be noted that you should buy Black throughout the year not specifically on Black historical holidays, and advocate for the redistribution of wealth in historically oppressed Black areas.
