This Juneteenth festival celebrates Black traditions that changed how Americans eat
The Juneteenth Foodways Festival, which celebrates the influence of Black culinary tradition on American culture, is on for 2024.
When and where is the Juneteenth Foodways Festival?
The third annual festival is taking place 4:30-8 p.m. June 14 at the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site, 1230 N Delaware St., in Indianapolis.
The event focuses on Black-owned restaurants and caterers, offering several moderately-priced menu options. Some will recreate menu items of White House chef Dolly Johnson.
