Julianne Moore’s Golden Globe Style Through the Years: Sparkling Givenchy Dress, Pink Lanvin Gown and More

Julianne Moore was among the slew of stars who received a 2024 Golden Globe nomination, revealed on Dec. 11. Moore’s Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture nod was for her role in Netflix’s “May December.”

The critically acclaimed actress has won two Golden Globes in the past, one in 2013 for “Game Change” and another in 2015 for her performance in “Still Alice.” Regarding her fashion at awards shows, Moore has donned looks ranging from Givenchy to more obscure designers including Ulyana Sergeenko.

For the 1998 Golden Globes, Moore went minimalist in a navy Richard Tyler dress. Nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture for her role in “Boogie Nights,” the actress added a matching shawl to her look.

2001

Moore embraced black-and-white glamour for the 2001 Golden Globes, donning a crimped white halter gown with a feather-adorned shawl overtop. When it came to hair, the star switched up her red tresses for a straight brunette style.

2011

To the Golden Globes in 2011, Moore brightened up the red carpet in a pink Lanvin gown. The actress accessorized her one-shoulder frock with Bulgari jewelry. There, Moore earned a nomination for her role in the 2010 film “The Kids Are Alright.”

Before the metallics trend swept red carpets in 2023, Moore embraced the look at the 2015 Golden Globe Awards in a Givenchy dress. The sequin ensemble featured a feather fishtail skirt and a halter neckline.
