Rocking a Valentino gray ensemble, Moore owned the stage with a blazer boasting bold buttons, pockets adorned with golden ‘v’ letter embellishments, and loose trousers to match. Adding a touch of glam, she kicked it up a notch with metallic gold heels that shimmered with every step. For accessories, she nailed it with a chunky gold necklace and bangles that perfectly complemented her dazzling footwear.

Julianne Moore Talks About Speaking In A British Accent For New Series, Mary & George

During one segment of the show, the May December alum talked about the challenges of trying to speak in a British accent for her role in her upcoming series titled, Mary & George.

It turns out, she was the only American cast member, as she revealed, "I get more American, especially around British people. Like, you know, they say things like 'jumper,' I'm like 'oh no, where's my sweater? I need a sweater, I'm cold.'"

She continued, "people will start talking about, like, crisps, and I'm like, 'where's my potato chips?'"

When asked to describe what Mary & George is about, she revealed, "It's a period drama. It takes place during the Jacobean era in England, and, being American, of course, I don't know a lot about the Jacobean period. And then I got there, and I realized they don't know a lot about it either, because it was only 20 years."

She added, "I play a woman named Mary Villiers, who kind of propelled her son, George Villiers, into the court of James I, where he became a very powerful man and also the lover of James I."
