Julianne Hough celebrated her 35th birthday in luxury and in style, and she dutifully shared some snippets of it with her 5.1M Instagram followers! The Grease Live! actress and some friends, including Ariana DeBose, Melissa Vargas, Dylan Mulvaney, and Lily Drew, enjoyed some time away in Antibes, the coastal city in the Alpes-Maritimes department of southeastern France; and it looked like a complete dream if some of the Instagram snaps are anything to go by!

The Dancing with the Stars alum shared some pictures of her enviable vacation on Instagram, and although most fans were green with envy at the stunning Côte d’Azur location, not to mention all of the stylish outfits the Safe Haven actress posed for pictures in, a few fans couldn’t help but voice their concerns about her seemingly ever-shrinking frame.

The Footloose actress captioned her August 3rd post: "What a dream this trip was. Thank you, @airbnb, for the most beautiful place to stay in the most beautiful city to celebrate my birthday month."

The first picture showed the birthday girl posing in a towel at what seems to be the Airbnb they were staying in, while the third showed Jules smiling and posing alongside Dylan, Melissa and Lily on the beach. Another picture showed the Rock of Ages actress striking a pose while wearing a stunning blue and white mini dress, while another showed her reclining on a sun lounger at the beach, wearing a chic tan dress, a straw hat, and sunglasses. The Burlesque actress looked phenomenal in each and every one of the pictures (nothing new there!) although a few fans couldn't help but comment about her "skinny" frame…

Fan Comments

"Hollywood is getting scary skinny," commented one fan, which another echoed, adding, "Scary skinny... not good." Another concerned fan wrote: "I'm not sure… But you seem to be slimming down a lot... I hope you are ok... Remember that it's a tricky path to be on being a young, vulnerable girl and you can worry too much about being thin... You are beautiful... Take care of yourself."

However, many others condemned the fans who commented on the pro dancer's weight, with one writing, "Probably not a good way to make a woman feel good about herself eh? Wow," and another adding, "WOW. It's her birthday. Can you just say “Happy Birthday” and not talk about diet culture." "Imagine projecting your insecurities on her. Commenting on her weight is not only ignorant, but damaging," added another, as yet another fan wrote: "A reminder that commenting on anyone’s weight is completely inappropriate."
