Julianne Hough Set the Internet on Fire With Her Glam Look and Instagram Is Stunned

Julianne Hough struck a pose and set the internet on fire with her latest glam look.

On March 27, the former Dancing With the Stars pro attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party following the 94th Academy Awards. For the special event, Julianne wore a black strapless Alexander McQueen gown with a sweetheart neckline and ruching detail throughout. She paired it with a stunning diamond layered necklaces, minimalist rings and a black-gold handbag.

The actress shared her Oscar-worthy look on Instagram a few days later on March 30 and revealed that her Alexander McQueen dress was from the fall 2015 collection. In her photo, Julianne shows off her dark gown, accessories and makeup in what appears to be an elevator. "🖤💎," she captioned it.

As it turns out, David Korins, who is the creative director for the Academy Awards, confirmed Julianne's photoshoot not only took place in an elevator but required a little assistance. "Also there’s that lady holding the elevator open 👈🏼👈🏼," he wrote in the comments section.

Unsurprisingly, fans quickly quickly declared the snapshot their favorite image of Julianne. One person wrote: "This might be one of my favorite photos." Another added: "Gorgeous, beautiful and elegant ❤️❤️❤️😍." A different fan said: "You nailed old Hollywood glamour!"

Julianne giving off vintage Hollywood vibes wasn't a coincidence. In her memorable Instagram pic, she tagged vintage fashion archive Shrimpton Couture and her stylist Jennifer Mazur, who both shared more insight into her Vanity Fair look. The celebrity fashion stylist opened up about not originally envisioning Julianne transforming into Elizabeth Taylor but it just happen to work out that way and it was a hit all around.

"Somehow we ended up going in an Elizabeth Taylor direction which was completely unplanned," Jennifer wrote on Instagram. "However when the look came together with the necklace hair and makeup it was so clear Julianne looked like a modern Elizabeth Taylor."

What's more, Cherie Balch, who is the vintage expert behind Shrimpton Couture, also shared her admiration for Julianne's look. "Love my McQueen on you!" she commented. "You wear it perfectly and @jennifermazurstyle styled it perfectly ❤️❤️❤️."
