The couple announced their decision to separate four months ago.
It’s been four months since Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich announced their plans to separate, but it appears the relationship’s not over just yet.
According to People, the 32-year-old entertainer and the 37-year-old former hockey player are currently on vacation together … in the very place where they tied the knot three years ago: Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
″They decided to separate and to do their own thing. Brooks always wanted to stay married and made a lot of changes to make it work," a source told the outlet. "He was getting frustrated. He was hoping that Jules would come around, and she finally has.”
And it seems things are going well. "[Julianne] realized that Brooks really, really loves her. He is a great guy and so supportive of her,” the source added. “They are having the best trip.”

Hough and Laich announced their decision to separate in late May, telling People, “We share an abundance of love and respect for one another and will continue to lead with our hearts from that place.”
At the time, sources revealed that the pandemic had precipitated the split — Hough stayed in L.A. and Laich in Idaho — as the pair realized they were ”perfectly happy and fine being apart.”
