Julia Roberts' illustrious career doesn't leave much to be desired from the outside looking in, but the Golden Globe winner has her share of regrets.

The Notting Hill star reunited with screenwriter Richard Curtis for a new feature in British Vogue, where the legendary producer got Roberts to open up about some of the missed chances she's had in life, leading her to first joke that her "greatest regret is that [she] didn’t meet you earlier, Richard Curtis."

Interestingly enough, Curtis credits Roberts with launching his own career, admitting that he pursued film after seeing Pretty Woman, an example of his "favourite kinds of movies."

"So it was odd to be on a film set with you, thinking this person is the reason I started my film life," he recalled of working with Roberts on the classic rom-com, which also starred Hugh Grant.

On a more serious level, Roberts admitted that she regrets that she never attended college, though "it wasn't in [the] cards" for her. She didn't come from money, and explained that she also "had no scholarship potential."

However, as her kids were going through the college admissions process, she started feeling a little left out as a result. "...it does just fill me with a longing for that academic space," she described after hearing them "talking about what they are interested in learning more about and all that..."

"I want to learn about anthropology!" she continued. "Where’s that academic space for someone like me? It doesn’t really exist, but…"

But hey, it's never too late to enroll!
