Julia Roberts Shares Rare & Intimate Photo of Twins Phinnaeus & Hazel in Celebration of Their 19th Birthday

If you’re thinking, “Wait, Julia Roberts has twins?!” you’re not alone. The famed actress — like many celebrities — is pretty private about her kids. So ICYMI: She shares teen fraternal twins Phinnaeus and Hazel along with a 16-year-old son Henry with husband Danny Moder.

The Pretty Woman star shared a rare photo of her twins (the last one was from a year ago!) on their birthday today. The grainy, black-and-white photo is of Roberts holding the two in her lap when they were little babes. She’s sitting on the floor in what looks to be sweatpants, and her hair is pulled back, showing off her eyes that — much like her kids’ — stare intently at the camera. From the tilt of her head to the way she lifts her legs up to her babies, it’s so clear how much love and pride she has. The whole thing is so raw, intimate, and precious.

“Happiest birthday to both of you ! Lots of Love ! ❤️❤️❤️🎂🎉,” Roberts’ hair stylest commented. “❤️❤️,” said presidential photographer Pete Souza.

In an appearance on Today last year, Roberts sounded so relatable when she got candid about her parenting worries.

“Sometimes I get gripped with fear of blowing it,” she said. “And sometimes I’ve just said to my kids, ‘So today, me as a mom? Can we just take that off the board because I blew it.'”

For her teens’ 18th birthday, the Eat, Pray, Love actress shared a photo of her in the kitchen with Hazel and Phinnaeus who were both in diapers. One sits in an activity center, and the other she holds up to her face, clearly having a sweet little discussion. Once again, it’s such a touching snapshot.

“🌟🌟18🌟🌟 Love you,” she said simply. Because at any age, those are the two words that matter most.
