Julia Roberts Just Wore the Swimsuit Version of *That* Dress From Pretty Woman

If 2021 has taught us anything, it's that time is a flat circle — what has been shall be once more. Case in point: Julia Roberts was just spotted wearing a swimsuit from the exact brand behind her iconic Pretty Woman dress.
On vacation in Sydney, Australia, Roberts exuded joie de vivre in a pink seersucker maillot by Hunza G, whose blue-and-white cutout dress in the same fabric she shook the world with some 31 years earlier. Of course, Roberts looked like she hadn't aged a day.
The brand, Hunza G, was originally established in the '80s and became best known by this very on-screen moment in 1990, wherein a curly-haired Roberts memorably styled the body-skimming mini with co-star Richard Gere's button-down shirt, fashionably knotted at the waist. Since then, the brand shuttered and relaunched in 2017 under the creative direction of Georgiana Huddart, inspiring countless celebrities and high-profile fashion types to wear its flattering swimsuits; Kate Hudson, Kylie Jenner, and Emily Ratajkowski all sported its signature crinkle one-pieces and bikinis. It's no exaggeration to say Hunza G was (and still is) one of the hottest swim brands of the moment.

Further fueling its popularity, Hunza G re-released Roberts' near-exact Pretty Woman dress last year, which you can currently buy, alongside Roberts' pink Pamela one-piece, on Net-A-Porter.
The two-tone mini dress — the brand's most recognizable offering — is one-size-fits-all, as are its suits and other bodycon dresses. It costs just $245, which is significantly less than what a slice of cinematic history might set you back in other instances (can you imagine getting the exact red velvet dress from that film for the same price?) and it also comes in swimsuit form, for $230.
Roberts' bubblegum-pink number is priced at $205 and is also available in an arresting Lilac shade.
