Julia Roberts Gives Rare Insight Into Marriage With Danny Moder

Julia Roberts has been with her husband, Danny Moder, for decades, yet the couple is quite private with their personal life. In a new interview, the actress shared a little insight into their relationship and how she knew Moder was the one for her.

While speaking with Gayle King on CBS Mornings to promote her new film, Leave the World Behind, Roberts couldn't hold back a true smile when King brought up Moder.

King mentioned Roberts' three kids, before saying, "Then they'll come a time where it'll just be you and Danny Moder." As Roberts' face broke out into her signature bright smile, King joked, "How awful is that gonna be?"

Roberts rolled her eyes, joking back, "Terrible," before King went on, "This is the thing about you and Danny, you can't even say his name without seeing 110 teeth...I so love this about the two of you."

The Oscar winner covered her face, saying that it was "embarrassing." Roberts went on, trying to explain her feelings, calling Moder "my person" and "my favorite human."

"He's so smart and kind and dynamic in the way that he looks at the world and admires people, and he's just so strong and loving," she continued.

Roberts and Moder, a cinematographer, met on the set of The Mexican in 2000, and by July 2002, they were married. The two tied the knot in Taos, New Mexico with a surprise wedding.

The couple welcomed twins Phinnaeus and Hazel in Nov. 2004,  before having their third child together, a boy named Henry, in June 2007.

This fall, Roberts marked her twins' 19th birthday with a sweet throwback photo from when they were babies. She simply wrote, "✨✨19✨✨ There are no words for the joy, the fun, the wild rumpus of life together. 💕."

Phinnaeus and Hazel are both attending college right now, while Henry, 16, is still finishing up high school.
