Julia Garner is officially closing her chapter on Ozark but not before expressing a bit of gratitude.

One month after Netflix released the crime drama’s season 4 part 2, the actress took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message with fans. After originally debuting in July 2017, Ozark’s final seven episodes showcased the ending of Marty (Jason Bateman) and the rest of the Byrde family. Unfortunately, Julia’s character Ruth Langmore had a fatal windup that upset folks. But according to her May 30 Instagram post, she’ll remember her time on the series beyond her last scene.

“Thank you everyone for watching the finale season of @ozark,” she captioned an Instagram photo collection featuring Ozark costars Jason Bateman, Laura Linney and Charlie Tahan. “This was such a special time in my life. I love you all so much. ♥️ #grateful.”

After seeing Julia share a handful of heartwarming behind-the-scenes pics, Ozark fans took the opportunity to send her loving and supportive words. “Ruth was my favorite character! Thank you for your amazing work, Julia ❤️! Ozark wouldn’t have been the same without you!” one person wrote in the comments section. “You were incredible in this entire show!! Another Emmy for you !! ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” another added, referencing her past two wins for Best Actress. “You are a phenomenal actor! I cannot wait to see what the future holds for you! 🙌 💫❤️🔥,” a different fan said.

What’s more, celebrities reached out to the Inventing Anna star with encouraging notes about her latest work. “Congratulations! What a stunning achievement 💖,” commented Good Sam actress Sophia Bush. “One of the greatest shows I’ve ever seen. Way to stick the landing!! Bravo!” said House of Cards star Michael Kelly. “❤️❤️❤️,” added Twilight alum Taylor Lautner.

Before paying tribute to Ozark on social media, Julia opened up to Time about the show concluding. By the sounds of it, she’ll be keeping Ozark and everyone she’s met from the show close to her heart.

“I know that every actor promoting their project always says, ‘It was like a family.’ But this was actually like a family,” she told the outlet. “Jason [Bateman], Laura [Linney], and everybody on the show is so talented and respects each other artistically and personally."

Julia continued: "It was a dream. It was such a personal experience. It makes it harder in some ways to be on other sets because I have this sort of Ozark standard in a way.”
