Julia Fox Wore an Itty-Bitty T-shirt Covered in Rips
Julia Fox had a daring start to New York Fashion Week.
Last night, the Uncut Gems star attended Saks Fifth Avenue's NYFW Kickoff Party in a bold look reminiscent of the '90s.
Fox stepped out wearing a matching oversized bomber jacket and a maxi skirt with a slit up the front, both pieces made out of a reflective silver-gray material (the jacket also included a vibrant orange lining). Underneath her outerwear, Fox upped the ante in a cropped plain white tee covered in shredded rips.
She paired the ensemble with equally edgy accessories, including a black choker studded with large silver spikes, black platform combat boots, and a black baguette-shaped handbag.
Earlier this week, the model, actress, artist, and muse was spotted in the city while wearing an asymmetrical denim minidress made of strips of jeans in different washes sewn vertically together. The dress included a sultry waist cutout, so she stayed warm in a patchwork denim overcoat and finished the look with denim sock boots.
Fox recently appeared on Emily Ratajkowski's podcast, High Low. During their conversation, the two got real about being single moms raising sons in New York City.
"This mother, father, children structure—I feel like people are really starting to not like it," Fox said. "I feel like a lot of things are kind of shifting, and I would not be surprised if maybe a trend started occurring where girls just have a baby with their gay bestie or just a guy that is a friend who also just wants kids, and then they kind of just raise him in a group setting type of situation."
"I know some adult people who are basically from that situation. Like, their dad was gay and their mom was turning 40 and was like, 'I wanna have a kid.' And they're amazing. They have a really balanced outlook on life," EmRata replied.
