  • Julia Butters, who won us over in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, just made her Oscars red-carpet debut.

  • She hit the carpet in custom Christian Siriano but carried a turkey sandwich in her purse!

Sure, Julia Butters may be only 10 years old, but she literally just proved she is wise beyond her years when she hit the red carpet at the 92nd Annual Academy Awards. The beyond adorable child star, who won critical acclaim this season for playing Trudi Fraser in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, had a major fashion moment that I can’t stop swooning over.

“Beyond excited to wear something special from one of my FAVORITE DESIGNERS on Sunday,” Julia tweeted earlier this weekend alongside a photo of a Christian Siriano label. TBH, the internet fell in love with Julia even more when we all learned on E!’s red-carpet broadcast that she sketched the custom Pepto-Bismol-pink dress herself. A girl with many talents!

But it was one of Julia’s accessories that ended up stealing the show from her A-list design. Packed inside her super-cute crystal disco ball purse was none other than—wait for it—a whole turkey sandwich, y’all. Let it be known that the Marzook bag retails for $2,495, according to Page Six.

Julia told Amy Kaufman from the Los Angeles Times that she packed the sandwich, which included tomato, because “I don’t like some of the food here.” Relatable.

The Golden Globes introduced a totally vegan menu for the first time in history this year. Designed by Wolfgang Puck, the Oscars’ Governor Ball menu is just 70 percent plant-based, according to Robb Report. So, uh, that being said…it’s a good thing Julia has her own turkey sandwich. Bless her soul!
