Expect the rest of The Bachelorette’s new season to be extremely juicy for several reasons, including but not limited to the fact that there are, of course, still two (2) Bachelorettes; the fact that much of this season takes place on a cruise ship quite literally AT SEA; and the fact that there appears to be a James Dean impersonator in our midst. Get Ready, ’Cause Jason Is an Investment Banker
I know right? Was positive Jason’s job description was going to be Expert in Leaning Against a Brick Wall in Leather Jacket With One Leg Up, but here we are. Apparently, 30-year-old Jason does his investment banking in Santa Monica, California, where he enjoys surfing.
He Really Wants a Relationship
The man is done with dating! As ABC’s bio writer (*lights prayer candle*) puts it, “Jason is a relationship kind of guy. He loves love and is ready to find a woman with whom to laugh and grow through life.” Also important, apparently? Jason is “never the loudest guy in the room, yet still somehow has an undeniable presence about him.” Noted!!!

He Makes It to Gabby’s Final Four
At least according to Reality Steve, who has a pretty amazing track record when it comes to accurately predicting seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. This means that Jason went on a hometown date with Gabby, and given that said date was reportedly in New Orleans, gonna go ahead and assume that’s where his family is based.
At this point, we don’t know if Jason made it past hometown dates to the final three (overnights) or the final two (proposals), but he doesn’t appear to be on Bachelor in Paradise, so read into that what you will.
Another thing we can potentially read into? As of writing this article (on Bachelorette premiere day, aka July 11, 2022), Jason’s Instagram account @jason.alabaster is set to private—which could indicate that ABC asked him to stay under the radar because he makes it far into the season. OR it could mean that he’s a private guy who isn’t on this show to get famous. Either way!
