Steve Harvey is known for sharing what’s on his mind while hosting Family Feud. But on his reality courtroom show Judge Steve Harvey his word is final, and fans love him for that. Unfortunately though, the TV personality won’t be making rulings for a bit.
Since the premiere of Judge Steve Harvey in early January, Steve has taken his seat on the bench every Tuesday night and used his gavel when needed. After five consecutive weeks of new episodes on ABC, the show is going on a break, which means there won't be a new episode of Judge Steve Harvey airing tonight or in the next few weeks.
When is Judge Steve Harvey coming back?
ABC has not announced an official date for the return of Judge Steve Harvey. That said, the unscripted courtroom comedy series might come back with new episodes at the end of February. If you’re wondering why there is even an interruption in Judge Steve Harvey’s schedule, it’s because Jeopardy!’s latest tournament, the National College Championship, is airing from February 8 through February 22.
Apart from the quiz show having a regular season that features competitors testing their knowledge from Monday to Friday, it also has special TV events like the Tournament of Champions and the Professors Tournament. The National College Championship is the latest addition to Jeopardy!’s lineup, and it features 36 undergraduate college students from across the country vying for the $250,000 grand prize.
So, after Jeopardy! host Mayim Bialik leads contestants through a regular in-season game at 7 p.m. ET on ABC, she’ll return at 8 p.m. to host the all-new championship during Judge Steve Harvey's usual time slot.
In case you don’t keep up with the trivia show, Steve has left his fans with a task to complete in the interim: to apply to appear in his courtroom! According to Steve’s social media posts, Judge Steve Harvey is still on the hunt for real people who want to settle their real-life conflicts on the show. What’s more, filming will be taking place in April, which means there are plenty of new episodes coming our way!
