A Journey Through Gigi Hadid's Dating History—From Joe Jonas to Leonardo DiCaprio

Due to being a casual supermodel, Gigi Hadid has a dating history that's basically a parade of 10s. Like, they could have their own calendar and/or Thanksgiving Day float. These days, Gigi appears to be in a pretty serious relationship with Bradley Cooper, but we're taking a journey through exes—mostly to avoid DMing our own. So let's go ahead and kick things off with Gigi's first serious public relationship with a man perhaps best known for his love of a flat-brimmed hat.

Cody Simpson: 2013 to 2015

Personally? I'm constantly forgetting these two dated, which is a shame because this photo deserves to be looked at all the time. But anyway, it turns out Cody was one of Gigi's longest relationships! And at the time of their breakup, Gigi's rep straight-up issued a statement to Us Weekly saying that "Cody and Gigi want each other to be in a place right now that allows him to only focus on his music, fans, and new message, while she can focus and continue building her career. They love each other dearly and have split up in hopes that growing on their own paths will bring them together in the future. They remain friends with no hard feelings and each other's biggest supporters."

Cody spoke about their relationship recently (by which I mean four entire years ago in 2020), saying, "I dated Gigi Hadid for two years and have always enjoyed being with independent women who are strong individuals. I have never really been heartbroken in the deepest sense, but I have been disappointed in relationships." K.

Joe Jonas: 2015

Joe and Gigi briefly dated in 2015, and Joe was NOT thrilled when she started dating Zayn Malik two weeks after their split in November (we'll get to Zayn in a sec). Direct quote: "I think it’s interesting that she moved on so quickly. I mean it was definitely very quick." He also went ahead deleted a photo of himself and Zayn with Kanye West, which he'd previously captioned "Squad." It's called being mature and taking the high road!

Zayn Malik: 2015 to 2018

Gigi and Zayn meet at a Victoria's Secret party, and things took off from there. Like, to the point where Gigi was out here starring in Zayn's music video for "Pillow Talk:"

The couple ended up briefly parting ways in summer 2016 (after about seven months of dating) when a source told E! News that "Zayn and Gigi did break up, but they can likely get back together tomorrow. It's all very unclear what's going on between them now. They been having some issues lately that involved communication and getting along. Gigi is really sad about this, though, and in a way would like to work it out. It's more about that constant contact with Zayn that she misses and they did get very close."

And things were good for a couple years! But Gigi and Zayn split again in 2018 and Zayn released a breakup statement (as did Gigi, but hers has been deleted):

Tyler Cameron: 2019

After breaking up with Zayn, Gigi briefly had a relationship with The Bachelorette's Tyler Cameron.

These two got together in August and were over by October, when a source told Us Weekly, “Tyler is single. He and Gigi Hadid are no longer together.”

Zayn Malik Again: 2019 to 2021

Zayn and Gigi officially got back together in 2019, and Gigi revealed they were expecting their first child together in April 2020:

But alas, Gigi and Zayn's relationship ended just over a year later after Zayn got into an alleged altercation with Gigi's mom Yolanda Hadid.

Leonardo DiCaprio: 2022 to 2023

Despite being "smitten" with Leonardo DiCaprio, Gigi and Leo's relationship was pretty brief. Why did they break up, you ask (other than Gigi clearly aging out of Leo's 18-24 demo)? An Us Weekly source said Gigi "doesn’t want her boyfriend to be in and out going to clubs and events and working all the time" and "doesn’t want to date someone seriously unless she can introduce them to her child."

Cole Bennett: 2023

Gigi and Cole were linked in September, when an Us Weekly source said “They’ve been friends for a few years. They’ve been playing coy about their status, but they mesh really well together.” Obviously....they did not turn out to be a thing. Sorry to this man.

Bradley Cooper: 2023 to 2024

OKAY, SO!!!! Gigi and Bradley kicked off relationship rumors in October 2023 when they were spotted grabbing dinner at "celeb hotspot" (sorry) Via Carota. They've been going strong since, though have yet to make a red carpet debut. Oh, and when it comes to their exes, back in December 2023, a source told Entertainment Tonight that "Gigi, Bradley, Irina, and Zayn are all in a place where they want each person to be happy and healthy. Zayn's priority is to have a good co-parenting relationship with Gigi."
