The genderbent take on the classic musical is going viral.

All we ask of you is to watch Josh Groban and Annaleigh Ashford's take on a classic Broadway number.

For MCC Theater’s annual Miscast gala in New York City, the Sweeney Todd stars took on The Phantom of the Opera's titular anthem. However, in true Miscast fashion, Groban notably performed the challenging soprano part, typically sung by the show's leading character Christine. As for Ashford? She tackled Andrew Lloyd Webber's most famous anti-hero.

Thankfully, one attendee recorded the genderbent performance, leaving fans utterly stunned.

The video showed Groban standing alone in the midst of a swirl of fog, belting his heart out before Ashford joined him. She clearly got into character as the Phantom, as she hid behind a white plastic mask, swirled her cape about and pranced around the stage.

"The way this entire performance had me absolutely levitating out of my seat," TikToker bestiesam22 wrote alongside the video, uploaded Tuesday, April 4.

The video spread like wildfire, with fans rushing to the comments to joke about their opposing vibes.

"I love how Josh Groban is serious as the grave, and then Annaleigh Ashford is LIVING in the camp," one wrote.

"Josh: completely serious, Annaleigh: GOBLIN MODE," another commenter joked, while someone else called the performance "so unhinged."

Plenty of others called for Groban to be cast in a future production of Phantom, with one declaring, "Nothing but respect for my Christine daae."

The witty commentary continued, with other viewers likening the performance to their own.

"Me singing Christine’s ever since I got bumped to alto in 11th grade," one wrote, while another labeled the video, "My sister and I when we were twelve."

Miscast is an annual concert production in which Broadway stars perform songs from parts that they would never be cast in. The complete gala performance will be available to broadcast from April 10 through April 16 for a minimum donation of $45.
