From Town & Country

After a long wait, the second season of the new, Jordan Peele-ified Twilight Zone premiered on CBS All Access last June—but it didn't take long for the show's devotees to devour all 10 episodes. Between the return of the Kanamits (of To Serve Man fame) and several fresh, twist-ready plots, there was no shortage of speculative stories to enjoy. (The all-star cast, anchored by Peele's own performance as the narrator, didn't hurt either.)

So, will there be more to look forward to? Here, what we know about the future of The Twilight Zone.

In February 2021, it was revealed that the show would not continue.

CBS All Access, which will soon relaunch as Paramount+, has decided against creating a third season. "Jordan Peele, Simon Kinberg and the entire production team truly reimagined The Twilight Zone for the modern age," Paramount+ head of programming Julie McNamara said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. "They upheld the classic series' legacy of socially conscious storytelling and pushed today's viewers to explore all new dimensions of thought-provoking and topical themes that we hope will resonate with audiences for years to come."

Still, fans can revisit the existing two seasons—and the original, too.

Twilight Zone fanatics can rewatch all of seasons one and two on CBS All Access—and the vintage Rod Serling show is available even more widely, on popular streaming platforms like Hulu and Netflix.
