Jonathan Van Ness and Sydney Sweeney Top Our Best-Dressed List From the 2019 Creative Arts Emmy Awards

Let awards season begin!

Though the Primetime Emmy Awards doesn't happen until Sept. 22, the Creative Arts Emmy Awards — the lesser known precursor — took place on Saturday. This two-day event honors outstanding artistic and technical achievements in a variety of television programs, but it's not considered viewer friendly enough for a live telecast. That didn't stop Kim Kardashian West, along with a slew of familiar and much-loved small-screen stars, from making memorable appearances on the red carpet.

There was the Fab Five from "Queer Eye,' who served up their sartorial A-game before taking home several honors. Jonathan Van Ness wore a custom silk metallic bow dress by Christian Siriano with heeled peep-toe boots from Rick Owens, while Tan France was clad in a custom ensemble from Varun Bahl Couture. Karamo Brown went for a Versace coat with a fur trim, and the remaining members of the makeover clan opted for classic black suits.

"Euphoria" darling Sydney Sweeney arrived in a dreamy, crimson-colored Marchesa get-up. She was joined by her co-star, Maude Apatow, who chose a romantic ruffled Rodarte number for the occasion. Other appearances included in Laverne Cox in a Zac Posen, Olivia Munn in Monique Lhuillier and Natasha Lyonne in Rodarte, as well.
